The Obamas are back in Hawaii Island again to celebrate Christmas. According to Huffington Post, it was last Saturday that the Obamas arrived at Kailua for their annual Christmas vacation.

The house is a laid-back beach town known for its crystal clear water and powder-like sand located at the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. The place is truly majestic, no wonder the Obamas kept going back to it.

The Hawaii Magazine reported that for eight consecutive years, President Obama and his family chose the Aloha State for their Christmas getaway. This serves as their final getaway to the island as the first family. They will celebrate Christmas and New Year in the island.

Last week, the White House already confirmed about the Obamas Christmas trip. Reportedly, if President Obama will still follow his previous itineraries at the island then expect him to play golf at Royal Hawaiian Golf Club, get some shave ice at Island Snow and catch some waves at Sandy Beach.

The first family stays in the Hale Reena Estate. This is an Asian-inspired estate that became their holiday home since 2011. The resort is a paradise, it welcomes the guest with a tropical lagoon in the home's entry way.

Back in 2009 and 2010, the first family stayed at The Plantation Estate which is also called as the "Winter White House." Reportedly, the rent in the estate cost around $5,000 to $10,000 a night, and it also depends on the season. The place is also popular to other celebrities such as Angeline Jolie, Bradley Cooper and Emily Blunt as shared by the estate owner, Glenn Weinberg.

It has been known that the President spent great memories of his childhood in Hawaii. And during his trip to Paris this month, he even said that "I am an island boy."
