"Chicago Fire" Season 4 is currently on a winter break, but it was already confirmed that the show will be returning with an explosive episode with a crossover with "Chicago PD" and "Chicago Med."

International Business Times reports that creator Matt Olmstead revealed in an earlier interview that the crossover episodes will revolve around Hank Voight's (Jason Beghe) life. He added that there will also be a two-episode story arc once the shows return, and this will surely shock the fans.

Olmstead said that the episodes will bring all three shows together, and it will be about Voight's backstory with his late wife. It was earlier reported that fans will know all about the circumstances of her death and how this affected Lindsay (Sophia Bush).

Meanwhile, in the mid-season finale of "Chicago Fire" Season 4, fans were shocked after Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) was stabbed by Freddie Clemente (Ralph Rodriguez). Movie News Guide reports that "Chicago Fire" Season 4 episode 10 will pick up where it left off in the mid-season finale, and Gabby (Monica Raymund) will be taking Herrmann to Chicago Med where they will be greeted by Nurse April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) and Dr. ConnorRhodes (Colin Donnell).

It was also reported that Cruz (Joe Minoso) will be working with the detectives from Chicago PD in order to look for Freddie, while Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) from "Chicago PD" and Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) from "Chicago Med" will be dealing with a patient who will attempt to commit suicide.

Elsewhere in the episode, Mouch (Christian Stolte) is planning a surprise for his girlfriend Trudy Platt (Amy Morton), which is more likely to be a wedding proposal, while Jimmy Borelli (Steven R. McQueen) and Sylvie Brett (Kara Kilmer) express their concerns for Jessica "Chili" Chilton (Dora Madison).

"Chicago Fire" Season 4 episode 10 will return to NBC on Jan. 5.
