A few months ago we have heard strong rumors about a certain iPhone C model to arrive in 2016. There were news about a 6C and there were also words about a 7C. However, just recently, new rumors suggest that the upcoming C model would be the "iPhone 7C".

People's craving for a smaller iPhone may be finally resolved with Apple's rumored "iPhone 7C" release. Though no official announcements back this up, rumors have been nothing but present when it comes to talks about a smaller iPhone. It has been quite a while since Apple last released a smaller iPhone and that was in the form of the "iPhone 5C". If these new rumors are true, then the "iPhone 7C" should be Apple's response to its clientele's demand for a smaller iPhone.

Though we first heard it to be the "iPhone 6C", sources took back those claims and say that Apple finally scrapped the "iPhone 6C" idea and instead changed it to the "iPhone 7C". Clearly it is just a matter of labels. It's still gonna be a smaller iPhone. However, since the device will belong to the "iPhone 7" family instead of the older "iPhone 6" batch, its price may not be as low as it would be if it were to be launched as the "iPhone 6C". Previous rumors suggest that if Apple releases a 6C it would be priced less than $500. Of course numbers are a complex thing, but if we base the "iPhone 7C" price on that rumored figures, it's safe to say that the device would be just a bit higher than that, and surely a little lower than Apple's usual flagship pricing that should be applied to the "iPhone 7" and its other variant if there's any.

Furthermore with the rumored "iPhone 7C", it was said that it will be 4 inch in size and may be the slimmest smartphone yet. As for the release date, the mentioned months are March and April of next year. This is an exciting news for people who crave for an iPhone but hate the wide sized flagships that the company has been offering for the past years.
