Teresa Giudice is spending Christmas with family at home and she could not be more excited about it.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" will be released from prison today after jailed for almost a year due to fraud, according to People.

A source tells the magazine, "Teresa is beyond excited to finally see her family. She can't wait to see them. It has been a pretty challenging year for her and her family, to say the least."

The 43-year-old mom will be reunited with four daughters,  Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana, as well as husband Joe, who, incidentally, will be serving his own sentence a few months after Giudice herself.

The source continues, "She can't believe this day has finally come. She has waited for this day since the moment she set foot in there. She is so happy. The first thing she is going to do when she gets home is hug Joe and her girls so tight. She has missed them all so much while she was in prison. She is going to spend as much time with them as she can."

Her excitement of going home and spending Christmas with family showed even in prison. She's not able to go shopping but she asked her children and her husbang to buy presents for her. She has been organizing from the inside, so to speak.

Related to this, Radar Online reports that the actress will take extremes measures so she will not be photographed on her release, to the point of even hiring decoy cars to avoid being recognized. A source of the online portal says that she does not want media frenzy.

After her release, and after the holidays, of course, she will start filming "RHONJ" immedidately. Her fans can also share with her prison life when she releases her memoir titled, "Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again," next year.
