The sci-fi crime drama "Person of Interest" will be back for another season, but with no further indications if Season 5 will be the last run of the series or if a Season 6 will push through. However, with the return of Harper Rose and Logan Pearce in the show, fans could still look forward to a great season in 2016.
There is still no official premiere date for the return of "Person of Interest" Season 5, but show creator Jonathan Nolan promised fans that this season will be the best among the earlier installments of the show. Ecumenical News reports that it is still uncertain if Season 5 will be the last season for the series. However, 13 new and action-packed episodes is what the showrunners can guarantee so far for fans.
Still, fans are worried that this may be the last season for "POI," which is reportedly evident with the decrease in the number of episodes for the season as well as the delay of its premiere date. However, showrunner Greg Plageman is keeping his hopes high and has confirmed that they have enough material to keep the series running until Season 7.
The behind-the-scenes images were also discussed in an earlier report from Realty Today, revealing the return of Harper Rose and Logan Pearce in "Point of Interest." Other cast members included in the images taken at the production set of the series are Kevin Chapman, Annie Ilonzeh, Jim Caviezel, Jimmi Simpson, Lionel Fusco and John Reese. Whether The Machine will be back on the small screen remains to be unknown, and no official plot for the Season 5 of the series has been revealed yet.
