The official music video of Taylor Swift's 'Out of the Woods', the sixth official single from her album 1989, is set to premiere during the 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest' special on ABC.

According to the report from Forbes, it has been rumored that the song 'Out of the Woods' is about the failed relationship of Taylor Swift and One Direction's Harry Styles. The two has dated for several months at the end of 2012. Swift has yet to comment about the rumors but it is not new for her to take inspirations from her failed relationships to write a new chart-topping hit. Her hit single 'Teardrops On My Guitar' from her debut album called out the name of her former lover, while the song 'Dear John' has been said to be about her experience dating John Mayer.

Billboard reported that the song will be the sixth single of Taylor Swift from her album 1989 following "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Style," "Bad Blood," and "Wildest Dreams."

The song 'Out of the Woods' has caused controversy last October due to the record label's strategy of holding back its release in UK even if it was made available in the US and other select countries.

"To all my wonderful UK fans, I realize that you are not yet able to get 'Out Of The Woods' due to a new strategy my record label is working on in the UK. I've never been one to hold my music back from any of you so I will be watching closely to see if this is ultimately a better experience for you, the fans," commented Swift during the midst of the controversy.

The 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest' special will start at 8 p.m. ET. However, fans and music enthusiasts are still in the dark on what time the music video will be shown or if Taylor would be in attendance to introduce her song.
