Though the Lakers is having one of its worst NBA campaign, still the team is being noticed by almost NBA fans because of their main man and superstar Kobe Bryant. The attention given to the Lakers is not likely because of their awesome plays or performances, but more likely because of the upcoming retirement of the Black Mamba from the NBA. This Lakers season is dubbed by most NBA fans and experts alike as Lakers farewell tour for Kobe Bryant. However, rumors of his retirement from basketball might not be totally true.

There are now some reports that even though Kobe Bryant will not be able to play in the succeeding seasons of the NBA, still there are chances of him playing after this current NBA season. Yes, it might sound confusing, bu rumors simply suggests that Bryant is not finish yet with the sport that he loved the most.

According to some reports, Bryant is expected to play in the international basketball, either in Italy or China wherein he might even compete with other NBA stars. And also there are speculations that Kobe will also be playing on the upcoming Olympics that is to be held in Rio.

However, these rumors and speculations of Bryant to continue playing are not supported by substantial facts. Even though fans would love to see their idol in the international scene, Bryant himself is not convinced that he may do so. According to Bill Oram of the Orange County Register via NJ, Bryant stated that, "I would have loved to play overseas for a season," Bryant told international reporters, as transcribed by Oram. "But it's not going to happen. ... My body won't let me."

Though Bryant confirmed that he will not be able to take part of the international basketball scene, chances are still great that for the last time he might play in the Olympics. "It's not something that I'm absolutely pressing for. But being a part of the Olympics is such a beautiful experience. It would be a beautiful thing to finish my career on an international stage," said Bryant via NJ.

Though Kobe Bryant's future plans are not yet revealed, still you cannot blame fans of wanting more to see of Bryant's glory days, and perhaps the Olympics could refresh those days for him.
