After it was reported that creator Marlene King revealed that "Pretty Little Liars" will end after Season 7, she has since clarified her statement.

According to International Business Times, fans were saddened with the news that "Pretty Little Liars" will be only until Season 7. With that, King explained her earlier statement on her Twitter account saying that she did not expect it to seem like the show will end soon. In an interview with Variety, King said that she thinks that the storyline that they have right now will start when the show returns next year and will end on Season 7.

It was reported that fans interpreted her statement to mean that the show is only until Season 7. Fans took it as a confirmation as actress Troian Bellisario seemed to be confident when she said that the show will end after Season 7 in the last PaleyFest event.

E! Online reports that King wanted to clarify this thru her Twitter account. In King's account, she tweeted, "What I said was 'This Uber A story that starts on January 12 will end when season 7 ends.' I did not say PLL will end. Just sayin 4 real."

She explained that "Uber A" is the new villain that is coming to haunt the girls in the second part of the season. In her earlier interviews, King teased fans with hints on the new big bad, saying that the new villain is different from A.

She added that the new villain is not into playing games and is determined to do anything just to get what he or she wants. In a latest report, she hinted that the character is related to one of the girls. Actress Sasha Pieterse even described the new villain to be "deadly."
