The NCAA College football season has now reached its crucial stage, where the stakes become higher and games turn even tougher for championship-aspiring programs.

After six weeks of scintillating football action, week no.7 could be even more entertaining as elite teams square it off to stay in the hunt for the prestigious BCS championship crown at the end of the season.

College football Gods will descend upon the field on Saturday, as a colossal matchup between the 2nd-ranked Auburn Tigers and the nations' no.3 football team Mississippi State Bulldogs duke it out at Davis Wade Stadium.

Another interesting game between no.9 ranked TCU Horned Frogs and no.5 Baylor Bears will also take place at McLane Stadium, while the showdown between rising power Ole Miss Rebels and Texas A&M will cap an action-packed day at Kyle Field.

Auburn Tigers vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs

Mississippi State cruised to a 38-23 victory over previous unbeaten Auburn. Bulldogs quarterback Dak Prescott covered 246 yards on 18-for-34 passing with one TD. He also rushed for 121 yards and scored two rushing TD to lead Mississippi State to three straight victories against top-10 teams (LSU Tigers, Texas A&M and Auburn).

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Baylor Bears

Meanwhile, Baylor erased a 21-point deficit to beat TCU in a high-scoring affair 61-58. Bryce Petty threw for 510 yards and six TDs while running back Shock Linwood covered for 178 yards to keep the Bears stay in the playoff hunt.

Ole Miss Rebels vs. Texas A&M Aggies

Of course, the game between the Rebels and the Aggies is expected to be a dandy with BCS poll implications all over the match.

After coming off a 23-17 upset win over Alabama, Ole Miss looks to strike again, this time against Texas A&M who direly wants to get back to winning column after they were stunned by Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace is excited to take on another elite team after their big statement win over the most dominant college football program in the last five years.

"We now know what we thought we already knew," Wallace told ESPN. "We know that we can compete with any team in the country. Now it's just getting to work and making sure we take every day as an opportunity to get better."
