Unbeaten in the last four games, the rejuvenated Dallas Cowboys will put their winning streak at stake against the best team in the National Football League, the Seattle Seahawks, on Sunday (4:25 EST) at CenturyLink Field.

The Cowboys, arguably the most popular sports franchise in the nation, are now making some serious buzz early this season as they look to finally become a legit playoff contender this time around.

Over the last four outings, Dallas' unexpected better defense have stymied teams like the Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams, New Orleans Saints, and the Houston Texans to go 4-1 this season.

Now, it's up for quarterback Tony Romo and company to show to everybody that their winning run is not just a fluke and they have finally arrived for contention by beating the best in the business - the Seahawks.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who have patiently waited a long time to see Cowboys rise again from the cellar, very much knows what a victory against the Seahawks in front of a hostile crowd in Seattle means for his team's chances this season.

"This gives us a tremendous challenge with a little bit of cushion in every way you look at it," Jones told ESPN on Saturday. "If we can go up to Seattle and come out with a win when no one is expecting it, we can build off it."

Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant is aware that he's going to have a 'heluva' matchup against cornerback Richard Sherman, but like his teammates, he is really determined to help his team take the win at CenturyLink Field.

"He's a great corner, arguably the best in the league," Bryant said. "I do look forward to it, just a great battle. It's not about that. It's really about trying to get this 'W.'"

The Seahawks, who captured the Super Bowl championship last season, is coming off a gutsy win over the Washington Redskins last week.

After pulling off that game-winning drive in DC, quarterback Russell Wilson will try to make more scintillating plays, especially on the ground, an area where they are ranked first in the league at 167.3 rushing yards per game.
