"Fast and Furious" fans are still wondering if Dame Hellen Mirren will really be in the new installment of the movie, and finally, the actress has expressed her thoughts on the matter. Latinos Health reports that Mirren already expressed her desire to appear in the movie and even called it her "great ambition." She said that if given the chance to join the film, she wants to become a "mad driver." As of writing, Mirren is still not confirmed to join the movie for the next installment. 

Parent Herald reports that franchise producer Neal H. Mortiz revealed in an interview that they have a lot of great characters cast for "Fast & Furious 8," and although Paul Walker may not be able to reprise his role as Brian O'Connor, he still thinks that Brian's story is still to be mined. It was earlier reported that Brian might still be in the next movie through a series of flashback scenes using CGI, or his younger brother Cody Walker might return for the role of his brother.

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are already confirmed to reprise their role for the next movie. It was also reported that Michelle Rodriguez and Lucas Black are already in negotiations about reprising their roles in the film as well. Other sources said that Kurt Russell, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges have not yet confirmed their return to the franchise,but there is a huge possibility that they will be appearing as well.

"Fast and Furious 8" will be released on April 17, 2017.
