"Dancing With the Stars" season 21 winner Bindi Irwin recently revealed why she can never be in a relationship with her professional dance partner Derek Hough.
In an interview with the Australian Women's Weekly, the 17-year-old wildlife conservationist said that she's very much in love with her boyfriend Chandler Powell.
"My mom has always described him as an old-fashioned gentleman. He's always there to keep me going. He's a sweet, sweet person," she said.
Irwin also said that Powell has been very understanding when it comes to her schedule especially during her three-month stint on "Dancing With the Stars" season 21.
"He's the first person I've met who understands my life: the travel and the work and that real dedication and determination. I think that's why I love him so much, because he gets my world," she said.
Meanwhile, there were some rumors that Irwin already broke up with Powell, and that she's now dating Hough.
However, the reality TV star was quick to slam those reports by saying that Hough is like her big brother.
In fact, Hough recently visited Irwin and her entire family in Australia after their successful run on "Dancing With the Stars" season 21.
While there, Irwin and Hough took several pictures together.
After leaving Australia, Irwin once again thanked Hough for his kindness and love for her and her entire family.
"I will never forget the journey over these last few months. Thank you so much @derekhough for visiting my world in Australia and being such an inspiration. You will always be my big brother," she wrote.
In other news, Irwin will be spending the holidays with her entire family and her boyfriend in Queensland, Australia.
"Dancing With the Stars" season 22 will premiere on ABC sometime next year.
