Naughty Dog just recently revealed that "Uncharted 4" is once again being postponed, with a launch set to happen in April 26.
"Uncharted 4" was initially set to come March. However, Naughty Dog said in a post that more polishing is still necessary before the game finally gets released.
As per the game directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, they said that as they are about to reach their final deadlines and started wrapping up the levels, they realized that there are key sequences that needed more resources to finally take them to a finish line. Furthermore, they said that after they considered all possible options, they decided to go for a schedule extension, to make sure that they could use more polish passes before they submit their final output for manufacturing. They also mentioned that it was not an easy choice having to push the game back, but they concluded their explanation saying that the final result will be their most ambitious one in the Uncharted series.

TechRadar held an interview with "Uncharted 4" voice actor Nolan North a few months back and according to him, they were already close to finishing the recording as of September and he should be done by the year's end. He said they expect a March 2016 release, and that schedule is already 'pushing it' for the team, but North said that they should be done really soon.
Nolan North, the person who provides the voice of Nathan Drake, also said that they have captured more footage for the "Uncharted 4" compared to the company's previous games. He said that the "Uncharted 4" should break some records as they did capture quite a bit, saying that the amount of cinematics is well over two hours approximately.
With that interview, it does look like Naughty Dog has a lot in store for its gamers which may be why a little schedule push is necessary, though we do hope that the April 26 promise would be the last "Uncharted 4" release date the company comes up with.
