"Kill Bill" movie franchise's Quentin Tarantino has hinted that he is open to making a third sequel for the movie. Tarantino was also in the news lately because of his latest project "The Hateful Eight" that has hit the big screen on Dec. 25, Friday.
The "Kill Bill 3" discussion was not the first time that the director hinted a possibility for the film. The "Kill Bill 3" project was also heard during the San Diego Comic Con, where Tarantino said that he and Uma Thurman still discuss the possibility of a third movie, Crossmap reported. Tarantino and Thurman were both on the film.
"Kill Bill" saga was originally planned as a trilogy, released on a 10-year interval. Indiewire reported that Tarantino said, "Back when it was going to be one movie, back when I was writing 'Kill Bill,' I thought I would do a 'Kill Bill' trilogy, and then I would do one [at the time] and then do another one 10 years from now and then I'd pick it up with Uma [Thurman]'s character [10 years later] and then I'd do a third one ten years after that."
A "Kill Bill" spin-off was also in Tarantino's plan. He said that he was interested in doing some sort of an animated sequel, bringing in Bride's other adventures. The animated spin-off was said to include portions that was left out of the movie.
"Kill Bill" was about Verita Green, a former member of the Deadly Viper Assassin Squad, who was part of the group who tried to assassinate Beatrix Kiddo, also known as The Bride. The group failed to put an end to Kiddo, but went into a coma after the attempt. After four years, Kiddo woke up, and located Green, who was already retired.
However, during the course of the fight, Green's daughter showed up, which temporarily stopped the fight. Kiddo suggested continuing the fight elsewhere but Green disagreed. Kiddo then killed Green.
"Kill Bill" ended with Kiddo telling Green's daughter that she can look for her in the future if she wants to revenge her mother's death.
