"Pokemon Go" is a mobile app and game from Niantec that will enable anyone to catch Pokemon wherever they are. This is one of the grandest announcements regarding Pokemon in 2016.

New Pokémon experience is being offered to the fans, with the partnership of the Pokémon Company with Niantec, the developers of the mobile app "Ingress." Niantec's chief executive John Hanke told Venture Beat during an interview that their objective is to make it easier for the people to find Pokémon.

While it will not be the most distinct "Pokémon" in the whole world, there is going to be a community of "Pokémon" residing near all the players. The gyms will also be a little more unique. The people may want to go to a gym to increase their Pokémon and fight there, which means that it is going to take a bit more attempt to get there.

With that being said, it is almost confirmed that there will be Pokémon Gyms in "Pokémon Go." Based on what Hanke said, it may not really have to be a person for them to fight with, but rather an in-app event the moment a particular location is reached. Moreover, Pokémon is going to live in various places in the world subject to the kind of Pokémon they are. Water Pokémon is going to reside near water. Perhaps, some Pokemon will only be present in specific locations in the world. However, players can trade.

Niantec is said to be planning to make "Pokémon Go" become a worldwide Pokémon adventure where people can trade and go to different places just to find Pokémons. However, Niantec will also hold special gatherings where the people can catch the rare Pokémon, although Hanke warned that it is going to be very competitive.

"Pokémon Go" trailer showed the Mewtwo event which was held in Times Square, in which many are assuming that these are events that Niantec may be putting together, iDigital Times shared.
