Just got a Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge this Christmas? This may change your mind about it.

The world's largest telecommunications company China Mobile has revealed the newest Galaxy phone after images has been leaked from a major company presentation. According to Slashgear, the presentation featured an early release of the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and S7 plus which will be available on February 2016.

This was an important change for Samsung from last year after announcing the Galaxy S6 in March and being sold by April. The announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S7 means that the preceding devices had a life cycle of 10 months only.

With the new Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors that are proven true claiming that Samsung is planning to develop their devices ahead of Apple, the same approach is apparently being implemented by the company with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 back in August 2015, a few months after the Galaxy Note 4 release.

Samsung is now ahead of Apple with its phablet devices just like when the Samsung Note 4 was released, a month ahead of the iPhone 6 Plus and now the 7-month headstart of the Galaxy S7 from the iPhone 7. It is also said that the Galaxy S7 will come in three different designs.

It is not only Samsung fans who are in the edge of their seats as Huawei will also be releasing their Mate 8 by late December or early January, Forbes reported. Along with it is the equally interesting device, the ZTE Axon Mini.

If you have recently received a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge this Christmas, it is best to trade it in before the prices fall when the Samsung S7 launches. Galaxy S6 will still be a fine device, but will immediately be outdated if the rumored features of the S7 were true.
