"Outlander" Season 2 will soon be returning to the small screens, as Sam Heughan teased his fans and followers that "#Droughtlander is almost over!" The 35-year-old Scottish actor also thanked his fans for their overwhelming support and revealed that their presence make for the best experience in his life.

Sam Heughan has been named as Radio Times TV Show Champion 2015 after going through several rounds of competition against other notable actors in the industry, RadioTimes.com reported. According to the outlet, Heughan thanked fans and viewers of "Outlander" for their overwhelming support for the show, and also for the actors and actresses in it.

Heughan told the outlet that the award is "a huge Christmas present from the Outlander fans." The actor also shared that this award is not only for him, but also for the rest of the "cast and crew who work SO hard in every weather condition."

Heughan further teased fans that the so-called "Droughtlander" phase will soon be over, as he shared that "Outlander" Season 2 "is almost complete." Meanwhile, Three If By Space compiled a list of Heughan's answers on Twitter.

According to the outlet, Heughan promised his followers to answer 20 questions on Twitter the moment he reaches 200,000 followers. As expected from "Outlander" fans, they were easily able to meet the goal and Heughan delivered his promise.

Heughan answered different questions ranging from his everyday life to his role in "Outlander" as Jamie Fraser. Heughan also shared that the best thing about being in the show is his fans and followers.

"Fans make it. Reason we work. Outlander fans have been terrific and proactive. And I still owe them a drink," he tweeted.
