Direct mail marketing company ProspectPLUS! has announced that it will be starting its "Year of the Kids: A Dollar for Dollar Campaign for a Cure" program in partnership with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in hopes to raise $50,000 in the first year of their campaign.
According to their press release in PR Newswire, the partnership with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital is part of the renewed commitment to service of ProspectPLUS! St. Jude has been the leading research and treatment facility for children with cancer or other life-threatening diseases. St. Jude has helped elevate the survival rate for childhood cancer from 20 percent to 80 percent and with the charitable support from donors.
"Cancer is something that has affected the lives of us all and St. Jude's impeccable reputation for research, development and patient care in the fight against childhood cancer made it the perfect choice for our organization," shared company president Jim Morton.
During the "Year of the Kids: A Dollar for Dollar Campaign for a Cure", customers of the web-to-print company will be offered to donate in four denominations, which includes $5, $10, $25, $50, in their order management system. ProspectPLUS! will bematching every donation dollar for dollar. Additional opportunities for employee participation and product-specific donations will be announced in coming months.
St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital is a non-profit research and treatment facility that specializes in pediatric care for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Patients and their families receives treatment, travel, housing or food without being billed due to the charity of individuals who cover their $2 millionper day operating cost.
