Just days ago, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid announced that they were going on a break due to their busy schedules. Based on an official statement made by a rep, "Bella and The Weeknd have taken a break. Their schedules got very busy and it really cut into there relationship. They are still in each other's lives though, just not in the same exclusive capacity." This is the first time they've announced such since they started dating back in spring. However, newer reports say that maybe they weren't official after all -- and maybe they are simply in an open relationship.

This official statement has been released once The Weeknd has been spotted flirting with ladies at a club after his concert in Miami, Florida. Additionally, break up rumors between the 'Can't Feel My Face' singer and Bella Hadid started when they didn't spend Christmas together and that they weren't being photographed together anymore. It looks like all is well for The Weeknd and Bella Hadid, since a source says that they have just decided to make their relationship open. They are still hooking up, but they'd rather see other people while they are at it.

For Christmas, Bella Hadid spent the special holiday with her family in Aspen -- that includes 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star and her mother Yolanda Foster and Victoria's Secret Angel and sister Gigi Hadid. The Weeknd released special singles too featuring Future and a remix of Jeremih's 'Pass Dat.'

Although they are merely taking a break, no one knows if this will result into an eventual break up. The 19-year-old Bella Hadid got together with the 27-year-old 'The Hills' artist back in May, and although their relationship is a young one -- fans of the couple hope that theirs is one that could stand the test of time.
