Hollywood Hills, California, is not just where Hollywood superstars live. Laurel Canyon in particular, is where a number of rock greats have made their home. It was known as ground zero for the birth of rock and roll in the '60s and '70s with very popular rock star residents such as Jim Morrison, Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell and Keith Richards, a Trib Live report said.

One house in the community is currently on sale. This was owned by Skip Taylor in the 1970s who was a music and concert consultant, a concert and tour producer and events promoter. His biggest clients were The Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Beach Boys, Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin and Grateful Dead. Taylor is currently the president of Two Goats Entertainment a personal management and production company for blues and classic-rock singers.

This house was also the home of the Rolling Stones. In 1978, Skip moved and rented it to the popular rock band. One night Keith Richards threw a huge party and burned the house down. The singer even described the home as it burned to the ground in his book "Keith Richards: The Unauthorised Biography.

Eventually, the house was rebuilt by the current owner and as he did so, he discovered pathways that led between the property to a house where John Barrymore lived. The next-door house also had a lot of rock and roll history since it was once the home of Joni Mitchell, Tiny Tim, John Fosse and Diana Ross.

Currently the property has a Tudor-style home with a sophisticated contemporary design. It has a footbridge over a lovely creek, five large bedrooms, four baths, formal rooms, a library and so much more. There are French doors, bright Calcutta marble kitchens and baths, a bar and wooden-ceiling beams in the largest room.

It is not so hard to imagine that rock legends once lived here. The property also has a beautiful pool. Spa and an outdoor kitchen.  The property is priced at $3.65 million.
