Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have proven that exes can be friends too. The former couple hit the headlines when they reunited for Christmas together with their only son, Bingham.

Hudson and Bellamy called off their engagement last year, but they have remained amicable since then.  The 36-year-old "Almost Famous" actress shared a photo on Thursday, Dec.24 with a caption written, "ExMas," Us Weekly reported. "From our #ModernFamily to your #WhateverKindaFamilyIsYourKindaFamily," Hudson and Bellamy wrote in the Instagram post. "We send you much love and blessings on this Christmas eve #ExMas #HolidayFun #SantasComing."

"The Muse" frontman and the 36-year-old actress were together for four years before splitting in 2014. They promised to remain friends and be a co-parent for their four-year-old son since then. Hudson and Bellamy got engaged in 2011, and welcomed their son the same year. The "Bride Wars" star also has a son, Ryder, 11, together with her ex Chris Robinson.

In the wake of Hudson and Bellamy's separation, the British rocker told reporters in an interview that "he's happy as Larry." Daily Mail reported that time that he was looking happy as there were no trace of sadness on his face when he was seen at the LAX airport. Following their split, Hudson was spotted kissing the 29-year-old dancing pro, Derek Hough, triggering speculations that they were dating.

In an interview with Harper Bazaar in November, Hudson told the magazine that she's happy being single. "I'm at that age now. I really do feel very lucky," Hudson said. "I've had my kids and my relationships. I've set my life down -- I'm in my house, and I'm alone with my children -- and I'm at peace, and that's a really nice feeling. All I really want in my life is to maintain that."

Hudson and Bellamy are one of the few Hollywood couples, who have maintained a good relationship despite their separation. Do you think there's still a chance for the former pair to reconcile?
