One of the devices that got announced before the year ends is HTC's "One X9". This phone was announced December 2015 and is expected to be made available January 2016.

The "HTC One X9" is a higher midrange smartphone that has a price tag of about 390 Euro. With that price actually comes an impressive set of specs that can indeed represent how next year's phones should be.

"HTC One x9" Specs

The "HTC One X9" measures 6.06 x 2.99 x 0.31 in and it has a 5.5 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels and 401 pixels per inch density. The screen is then protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass (though the specific version of the glass has not been specified). The phone is dual sim enabled and it runs the Android 6 Marshmallow OS from the box. It uses the Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset with an Octa-core Cortex-A53 processor and it uses the PowerVR G6200 GPU.

The RAM is 3 GB and the internal storage is 32 GB but it is expandable to up to 200 GB through a microSD slot. For the cameras, the "HTC One X9" comes with a 13 MP rear cam and a 5 MP front cam. The phone then comes with the typical connective features of WiFi, LTE, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB v2.0, and 3.5 mm jack. It however uses Dolby Audio for its sound.

Furthermore, the "HTC One X9" comes with a non removable Li Ion 3000 mAh battery and it is also fast charging enabled. The available phone colors are Black and White.

Overall, the "HTC One X9" looks like a very impressive phone. The screen, memory, battery, and the fact that it natively comes with the Marshmallow OS - all of these puts "HTC One X9" on top of most 2015 phones.
