"Clash of Clans" update: Town Hall 11 introduces the Village Guard. This is a defensive character that becomes active when the player's shield time is depleted.

COC Town Hall 11 News

COC Town Hall 11 update seems to be focusing on giving high leveled gamers intense difficulty. According to reports, players who now has the Town Hall 11 are having difficulties locating villages to attack. All these are due to the new Village Guard character. According to many high leveled players, it takes them hours before they can find a village to attack and this happened when the major game update was released.

According to what was posted in the COC Forums, one player said that for the past weeks, "clouds have been terrible" for his/her clanmates, and things are worst than before the update came. Furthermore, there are multiple higher league players who claim that they cannot locate villages to attack, all because of the newly introduced Village Guard.

This defensive character that automatically activates when a player's shield time depletes, allows players to act as online for a period of time, which means that they cannot be attacked. The higher the player's level, the longer Village Guard time they will be having.

Here are the Village Guard durations ordered per league, as unveiled by Supercell in their winter update:

4 hours - Titan 1 / Legend

3 hours - Titan II

2 hours - Titan III

1 hour - Champion levels

30 minutes - Below Champion

Additionally, some players shared that they find it hard to find enemies since high leveled gamers already dropped to lower leagues, and this may be caused by frustrated gamers' decision to stop playing COC after the update. Should the game developer redo the update and remove the Village Guard? Or should they at least lower the time duration given to players? Or should players learn to live with the new gameplay? Let's wait a few more time to see how this issue goes out.
