Korean mobile manufacturing company Samsung has officially revealed the company's latest smartphone flagship device, the Galaxy A9. It was said that the latest smartphone boasts impressive specs and features which tech analysts believe can definitely compete with other existing rival smartphones, a report from Latin One said on Monday.
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy A9, is the latest device added to the Samsung Galaxy A-series product lines. The company's new smartphone has a sleek and innovative design. It can be recalled that the company has officially made a public announcement of the device during the Galaxy A Party event which was held in China this year.
Tech Times reports that the Galaxy A9 features an elegant 6-inch Super AMOLED screen display with a 1,920 x 1,090 resolution. The device boasts 2.5D curved glass and inside, it is powered by 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 652 which can be clocked at 1.8GHz.
In terms of storage capacity, the Galaxy A9 has a default storage capacity of 32 GB which can be expanded to 128 GB via a separate microSD card. The device has 3GB of random access memory and it as a home button and equipped with a fingerprint sensor technology.
"Users will also be delighted with its 13-megapixel main snapper at the back and 8-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies. The primary camera has OIS and f/1.9 aperture. It is worth noting that it comes with a massive 4,000 mAh battery despite its slim all-metal body. Unfortunately, the handset comes with Android 5.1.1 with TouchWiz out of the box. The phone is said to perfectly work with Samsung's mobile payment service, Samsung Pay," the report said.
The Galaxy A9 will be sold first in China. Samsung has yet to issue an official statement as to when the company will plan to launch the device in other countries. In terms of price, the company has yet to disclose the price of the smartphone. But tech analysts suggest that the price will be similar to mid-range smartphones sold in the market today, Latin One noted.
