After the shocking kissing scene between Amara (Emily Swallow) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) in the mid-season finale of "Supernatural" Season 11, fans are now wondering if the two will become a couple.

According to the recap by International Business Times, Amara revealed to the hunter that they are both bonded because he was the one who set her free when they destroyed the Mark of Cain in the Season 10 finale. She also thinks that it was destiny that Dean was the one to rescue her from being banned on Earth.

In the episode, Amara finally tells him, "You and I will be together... we will become one, why wouldn't you want that?" Upon hearing this, Dean seems to be surprised with the revelation and with that kiss, fans are now speculating that the two might enter a romantic relationship when the show returns in January.

Meanwhile, Christian Today reports that the return episode of "Supernatural" Season 11 will feature an evil Santa who will spread terror. In the trailer for the mid-season premiere episode, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) is seen wearing a Santa Claus costume as he slams the door of the house of Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) while the latter is opening his Christmas presents. Crowley's mother Rowena (Ruth Connell) can also be seen in the video wearing a Rudolf costume.

Elsewhere in the video, the Winchester brothers can be seen spending the holidays apart since Sam (Jared Padalecki) is still trapped inside the cage with Lucifer, while Dean finds a way to stop Amara in her plan to destroy humanity. Meanwhile, their friend Castiel (Misha Collins) seems to have a problem of his own.

Fans are now excited for the return episode of the show as Amara's brother, God, will reportedly appear to stop the former's evil plans. "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 10 will air on The CW on Jan. 20.
