The mid-season premiere of "Teen Wolf" Season 5 shows Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) setting aside their differences in order to save someone they love.
In the mid-season finale of "Teen Wolf" season 5, Theo (Cody Christian) let Stiles choose between helping Scott and looking for his father (Linden Ashby). Stiles then chose his dad only to find him beaten in an abandoned house. With that, the friendship between the two is now on the rocks but the new episode will force them to work together in order to save someone.
According to International Business Times, the official synopsis for "Teen Wolf" Season 5 episode 11 reveals that Scott and Stiles will work together in order to find answers behind a mysterious infection that is killing the town sheriff. In the trailer for episode 11, while in the hospital bed and with an oxygen mask, the sheriff tries to tell Stiles and Scott about his attack and he was able to utter the word "chimera." Stiles can also be seen still angry with Scott because of the events that happened in the mid-season finale. Can they patch their broker relationship back?
Meanwhile, Australia Network News reported that showrunner Jeff Davis also revealed in an interview that the second part of season 5 will feature Lydia (Holland Roden) investigating Theo's past. He explained that in the very first image of the premiere trailer, Lydia can be seen approaching the bridge where Theo killed his sister. He added that Lydia will try to find out why he killed his sister and assured the fans that it is going to be a fun story. Elsewhere, Davis also earlier teased that Kira (Arden Cho) and her mom, Noshiko (Tamlyn Tomita) will be facing a group of skinwalkers in New Mexico.
"Teen Wolf" season 5 episode 11 titled "The Last Chimera" will air on MTV on Jan. 5.
