Christopher Nolan's film masterpiece "Memento" is rumored to be remade.

"Memento" a mystery thriller released in 2000 kept the audience wondering about the plot and its twists. With Nolan's prime direction, the film has recieved several accolades and recognition from various respected award-giving bodies like the Oscars.

The story revolves around the character Leonard, played by Guy Pierce, who was determined to avenge his wife's death. The plot becomes more interesting when the movie reveals that Leonard, the main character, is suffering from amnesia. The disease causes him to forget things after a short span of time and forces him to use unconventional methods to remind him of his resolve.

Recently, AMBI Pictures has successfully acquired the entire Exclusive Media Group  motion picture portfolio. AMBI Pictures has acquired the rights to do whatever it wants with all the titles under the umberlla of Exclusive Media Group.

Andi Levrolino from AMBI Pictures thinks that the potential remake makes so much sense and promises that the Nolan masterpiece will be recreated. The other half of AMBI pictures, Monika Bacardi, is positively looking forward to re-creating the film. Bacardi says that if the reamke will finally take place, she wants the remake to uphold the same ideology  and vision that the original's creators used in the filming "Memento."

The remake is still all ideas and no official roster of casts and even directors is released to the public.

The remake will be a very daring and dangerous move for any producer and director since the "Memento" has defined the genre and taste of today's finest mainstream film director.

In the span of 15 years, a lot of things has changed technology-wise and that could require the remake to tweak major details from the original that was released in 2000. Maybe instead of using polaroids and tattoos, the protagonist could have used smartphones and recorders as a more practical and effecient ways to recall forgotten details.
