Korean tech giant LG is set to launch a new product that will be showcased during January's CES 2016 event, which is the world's biggest electronics trade show to be held in Las Vegas. It was said that the company will introduce a new Tone+ Bluetooth headset called the HBS-910 which features a thinner, innovative and redesigned curve design, a report from Tech Times said on Tuesday.

"The HBS-910 differs from the previous HBS-900 Tone Infinim headset in several ways. The most obvious is the form factor of the new headset, with seemingly thinner, redesigned curves ending in a more aesthetically pleasing ends than the blobs of the Tone Infinim. Earbuds extend from the ends, much like previous entries in the line, for easy listening. The headset features a new quad-layer diaphragm for better bass and treble, two microphones to better capture sound and cancel noise, and app-based functions like LG Tone & Talk," the report said.

International Business Times reports that the LG's HBS-910 headset was actually manufactured in partnership with Harman/Kardon. In fact, the company has officially confirmed via press release that the new Tone Infinim has an improved "Harman/Kardon audio quality." The said headset also features a metallic body and boasts a long-lasting battery.

""The original Tone Infinim set a new standard for wireless headset design. We delivered an audio solution that offered days of battery life, a comfortable fit that didn't fall off the neck when unused and most importantly, fantastic sound. It's no wonder the LG Tone Infinim series is the most copied design in this product category," said Chung Sue-hyun, vice president of Innovative Personal Devices Business Division at LG Electronics as quoted in a press release.

"It's unclear what price range folks will be looking at if they're wanting to upgrade, but the Tone Infinim comes with a hefty $149.99 price tag. Pricing the newest version above that would make sense, though it's just as likely that the Infinim drops slightly to fit a more reasonable price point for the HBS-910 just above it," Tech Time said.
