Rumor has it that game developer Nintendo is planning something big for its popular video game "Legend of Zelda" Wii U. The news comes after a leaked marketing video surfaced last week which shows the company's upcoming video game.
It should be noted that the company has been successful in withholding new details about the game. Sources privy to the plans of the company claim that details will only be released until such time "Twilight Princess HD" will be released officially in March 2016, a report from iDigital Times said on Tuesday.
According to the report, the reported marketing video was in the possession of Gamer Professionals. However, the video has not yet been released for some reasons since it contains relevant information and it forms part of the company's "Legend of Zelda" Wii U official presentation.
"The video takes an unusual tack for a Zelda game: Instead of emphasizing Link's own quest, it depicts the relationship between parent and child. Most of the action is apparently between live-action characters, and focuses on a little girl who wants to be like Link. The video is intercut with footage from past Zelda games, but doesn't have any new footage. It simply ends with the phrase 'A New Generation Begins' and the overall Legend of Zelda series logo," the report said.
In a statement, Gamer Professionals has admitted that they possessed the video and explained that they will not publish the video, citing "copyright infringement."
"While Gamer Professionals is in possession of the video stated in this article, out of respect for Nintendo, our source, and other parties involved, we have decided against publishing the video, which would infringe on the copyright of Nintendo Co., Ltd and Creative Minds and Souls, LLC, who produced the video. Although we are almost positive of the video's legitimacy, as of this time, any information or speculation regarding this video should be regarded as a rumor - even the source's," Gamer Professionals said via the company's website.
