The boys from Five Seconds of Summer are in heat as they've been making the headlines due to several reasons. One of which is their feud against Fifth Harmony fans and One Directioners as well.

The boys, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford were also back-lashed after publicly announcing that they are sleeping with some of them while on tour. This being said, 5H fans came up with the hashtag #5SOSisDeadParty which has been trending for quite some time. Their Rolling Stones article did make the headlines, but some fans speculated that it is nothing more than a pre-teen's fan fiction.

One of the band members, Ashton Irwin stated that they would want to make a name for their selves and does not want to be called a "punk pop" or "pop Rock" band as he stated that he wanted people to recognize their talent in music.

"Seventy-five percent of our lives is proving we're a real band. We're getting good at it now. We don't want just be, like, for girls. We want to be for everyone. That's the great mission that we have. I'm already seeing a few male fans start to pop up, and that's cool. If the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and all those guys can do it, we can do it, too."

Luke Hemmings on the other hand , stated that he does not want to referred as a boy band.

"Are you a boy band? They said, 'We're in a boy band, too.' I was like, 'I'm walking away now.' "

Some 5H fans went into full extent after touching some of the most sensitive topics such as Aston Irwin's self-harm and his personal family life.
