It was announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that the affected vehicles have a low pressure fuel line that may not properly connect to the fuel pump pipe which can result a potential leak and can become a fire hazard.

The owners and dealers of the vehicles in North America has already been notified of the issue and the low pressure fuel line assembly will be replaced free of charge for the affected models. The Ferrari California T models that will have to be brought back to the dealers are from the 2016 year model that was built between September 8, 2015 and November 11, 2015.

According to Carscoops news, there are about 185 Ferrari California T models that are affected by the recall, said NHTSA. To find out more about the action, owners may contact Ferrari Customer Service at 1-201-816-2600 or the NTHSA Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.

The 2016 California T vehicles are going to be recalled by Ferrari because of the fuel leak which can be a potential fire hazard.

The owners of Ferrari have already been notified and the fuel line assembly will be replaced by the dealers free of charge.

The $231,000 car has been sold through more than 50 Ferrari dealers in the United States, according to Daily Mail news. The latest Ferrari recall happened in December 14 after Ferrari owner; Fiat Chrysler Automobiles recalled nearly 800 cars to fix a problem with its Takata airbags.

Meanwhile, Ford is also recalling some 2013 year model vehicles because of the faulty fuel-delivery unit that may crack and cause a fuel leak.

There are about 868 affected models which include Ford Explorer, Flex, Taurus Police Interceptor and Taurus and Lincoln MKS and MKT. Owners will be notified by Ford and pay to replace the faulty unit.
