Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's divorce is not hold-which means that Bennifer supporters' hope that the two would reconcile is now officially crushed.

News broke out that the two would be spending the holidays together at the Montana mountains with their children, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3 but it does not mean the divorce is off, People reports. The proceeding is still ongoing; perhaps there is no more stopping that.

"This more seems like a transitional period," a source says to People. It seems that Garner will not change her mind especially since she is going great now. The actor has been staying at the family's L.A. property and the famous parents are still focused on parenting. Garner really wants Affleck to be around for the kids.

The source adds that, "It's obvious many times that they both find it annoying to deal with each other. Understandably so. It's a strange situation to live together and yet be separated. They both seem to find the situation frustrating, but for now at least, they also seem to think it's best. They are doing what is working for the kids."

Another source previously said, according to NZ Herald, "They both seem much happier and relaxed. Jen has really been trying to put all the nanny drama to the side and she is doing well, but there is no way she would ever take Ben back. They are both smart when it comes to the kids and will work on putting any conflicts or differences aside."

It can be recalled that at the time of the split, Affleck was said to have had an affair with their nanny, 28-year-old Christine Ouzounaian. It is something the actor's publicist vehemently denied.

The two are really trying hard for the kids. They even spent the Thanksgiving holiday together at the former couple's Pacific Palisades' mansion where Garner cook for Affleck's family.
