The 7th Star Wars movie has lived up to the hype, breaking records week by week after its release. As a treat to its fandom, the franchise has released a book that lets us take a peek at how the film has evolved from the start of the production. The book is entitled 'The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' and it has a number of revelations about the movie, from conceptualization, to its final output.

The movie plot is made clear even to those who have not watched the past 6 films, though there are references to some of the events and characters from Star Wars 1-6. Major cast like Princess Leia, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker were also present in The Force Awakens. In the coffee table book, it was revealed that there had been an idea to have one other major character return in the film--Anakin Skywalker, played by Hayden Christensen.

The book tells about the plan to resurrect Luke and Leiah's father, but only as a Force ghost. Independent UK throws in the theory that he could appear in Kylo Ren's vision as Darth Vader, or to Rey's to give her a warning.

Star Wars illustrator and concept designer Iain McCaig explains in the book, "When you light a candle, you also cast a shadow.' That inspired me to propose, for the first time, that Anakin's ghost could come back [...] If we see Anakin Skywalker, because he does flow back and forth between Darth Vader and Anakin, let's see him as a character with a dark and light side. The reason Luke is this whole new entity is because he was the first to acknowledge his own dark side - that it was not separate from him."

The book includes pictures of the concept art of Anakin's ghost. In the picture, the Jedi is wearing a black cloak, and Christensen's face could be seen disintegrating.
