Two more days till the final numbers can be counted but so far to these three industries, They must have already enjoyed their lion's share with regards to products sales and have had, a happy holidays. Here are the three:
Movie Industry
As per New York Times, these ticket sales for all of 2015 movies are expected to reach $11 billion. The largest previous record was back in 2013 a staggering $10.9 billion
Box office have been celebrating the blockbuster gains from these blockbuster sequels; namely: 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' 'Jurassic Wold' and 'Furios 7.' The animation from Disney, 'Inside Out,' also made a big hit and just before the year ends, 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' broke records of sales by making more than $1 billion in just a matter of 12 days.
E-Commerce
Year after year the e-commerce industry has just been breaking the previous year's records of sales. They have been having a steady growth. During the e-commerce inception, their sales were just around 3% in total but the figure today is on the 7% level. Three more years projection is for them to reach up to 10%
This year 2014 e-commerce industry had a rise of 15 to the amount of $300 billion from their 2013 record. They are also expected to a growth of another 14-15% in the year. That being said, the total sales for the year 2015 could be amounting to $350 billion.
Automobile Industry
Putting off from buying cars for years in the market made this year a happy one for the car industry to serve their clients. From January through November this year, car sales were up to 1.4% compared last year. According to Business Insider, if the sales are being kept up this month, then final numbers could be expected to be a record of 18.55 million cars sold in 2015.
This success in the automobile industry is a result of the people's confidence in the economy; factor in also the low unemployment rate and the price of gas being cheap.
