After the big proposal, Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) will be planning an engagement party for their friends, but things won't go as planned.
According to Intenational Business Times, in the premiere episode of "New Girl" Season 5, Jess, who is the maid of honor, and Nick, who is the best man, will plan an engagement party for Cece (Hannah Simone) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield), and the trailer shows Nick doing a Bollywood dance number.
In the short trailer for Season 5, Jess introduces Schmidt's special number with his best man Nick while she attempts to be funny riding a motorized wheelchair. The two guys then start a Bollywood dance number, but Cece's mother doesn't look impressed.
Apparently, Jess invited Cece's mother, Priyanka Parikh, played by Anna George, and this reportedly complicates the relationship of the couple. It was reported that because of the awkward atmosphere in the supposed-to-be celebration, Cece will reveal something shocking to her fiancé. In another video, the new roommate Reagan (Megan Fox) can be seen talking to Schmidt, revealing to him that she and Cece hooked up before, which leaves Schmidt stunned. Was this the secret Cece wanted to tell Schmidt all along?
With that, Vine Report said that Reagan might stir things up in the show. Simone revealed in an earlier interview that the first episode of Season 5 will introduce Reagan and will also explain that her character and Cece has a romantic past. Could this mean a possible love triangle among Cece, Schmidt and Reagan?
Other outlets speculate that Winston (Lamome Morris) will be interested with Reagan; however, it was also said that Reagan might be interested in Nick. Fox teased this in a recent interview that when Jess comes back, things might get heated up between them.
"New Girl" Season 5 will premiere on Fox on Jan. 5.
