"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev met a minor accident on Christmas Day. According to her good friend Julianne Hough, the two of them went to the hospital to have the actress checked.
On her Instagram account, the 27-year-old "Dancing With the Stars" judge shared a photo from their recent visit to the hospital's Adult & Pediatric Urgent Care department.
"It's not a holiday/vacation unless Nina makes a trip to the hospital! Good thing mom is always her to MAKE her go! #ohnina #loveyou #clutz," she wrote.
Even though Hough didn't reveal what exactly happened to her best friend, one of the professional dancer's hashtags suggested that Dobrev probably tripped on something or fell.
According to International Business Times, this isn't the first time that "The Vampire Diaries" alum was brought to the hospital due to an accident. A few years ago, and while she was still playing the role of Elena Gilbert on the show, Dobrev tripped on the long gown she was wearing. There was also another instance wherein the actress had a concussion after hitting her head while on set.
Following her visit to the hospital, Dobrev tweeted, "Still feelin side effects from the Concussion I got on set... Ouchie. Good thing purple is a good color on me otherwise...."
In other news, Dobrev left "The Vampire Diaries" after six seasons. The actress said that she did so in order for her to star in new projects. However, some fans believe that Dobrev left the once hit TV show because it was no longer receiving good ratings.
In fact, there are also some rumors that "The Vampire Diaries" will be cancelled after Season 7. As of late, none of these rumors have been confirmed by executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 airs Fridays on The CW.
