It is really amazing how fans and even some insiders come up with some rumors regarding dominant teams and star players in the NBA. It happened before, and it is obviously still happening now. In line with a very interesting rumor, fansided reported that the Dubs may actually get Kevin Durant come his free agency period.

The rumor of Durant leaving Oklahoma Thunders has been circulating in the NBA world, especially when the big three was dismantled. However, another rumor still linking Durant has been popping out in the scene every now and then. This particular rumor relates to the idea of the Golden State Warriors acquiring Durant taking advantage on him as free agent.

It is now being reported that the Warriors is interested in adding Durant to their roster, and thus making a possible big three of their own, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant. So the question is how such thing would be actualized? ESPN's Chris Broussard via sportsgrid offered a scenario that would lead to a possible Durant transfer to the Dubs. Broussard stated that;

"GOLDEN STATE WILL HAVE MONEY. THEY WOULD HAVE TO LET HARRISON BARNES GO AS A FREE AGENT, PROBABLY TRADE ANDREW BOGUT BUT THEY'LL HAVE THE MONEY TO GO AFTER KEVIN DURANT."

The idea of Durant transferring to the Warriors or even to other teams was somehow brushed off by Kevin Durant himself earlier last month. But still it cannot be denied the possibility of the said transfer, especially that Durant could really fit in with the offensive run that Steve Kerr and his team has been doing over the past season. Aside from that, Durant transferring to the Warriors could also mean an advantage for him if he is in pursuit of a championship ring. Together with Curry, and the rest of the team, they would really have a strong chance to bring home another NBA title.
