A new fan-made PC mod has been rolled out to the popular video game, "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." It was said that the new game mod was created by a certain NexusMods user named Parkan. The game's mod will allow players to play female characters like Triss, Yennefer, Ciri and Shani, a report from Gamespot said.

According to the report, if players try the game's new mod and regardless of the character they will play, they should use Geralt's animation especially during combat and in some scenes that require dialogue. It should be noted that the character will still have Geralt's voice as well as other sound elements in the game for added incongruity.

"ParKan warns that you may run into issues if you're not playing The Witcher 3 on Steam version 1.11. In addition, the mod may not be compatible with other mods that use xml editing. On top of that, there are some issues when certain armor sets are applied and it doesn't work with New Game+ right now," the report said.

Polygon reports that Parkan is a popular mod designer that consistently adds new companions for the game. His recently created mod offers fans of the game five options "for the non-playable ally characters" that can be used even in combat. "The Witcher 3 launched on Windows PC, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, back in May. It's since garnered accolades from institutions like The Game Awards 2015, where it won the title of overall Game of the Year," the report said.

Meanwhile, recent reports suggest that the game's "Blood and Wine" expansion will be officially launched in 2016. It can be recalled that several images of the expansion were released earlier this month which show the world of Toussaint.
