Two former Super Bowl champions will collide at the end of Sunday's NFL schedule, as The Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints will lock horns at 8:30 p.m (EST) at Mercedez-Benz Superdome.
What's at Stake:
After a rough start, the Packers are begging to find their form as the season progresses, dismantling rivals Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins and the Carolina Panthers to keep them within striking distance of NFC North leader Detroit Lions.
On the other hand, the Saints have been inconsistent through their first six games and their lackluster defense has a lot of to do with their recent slide.
Despite Drew Brees' brilliance (1,916 passing yards with 11 TDs), the Saints are having troubles containing opponents' passing game, allowing them to accumulate an average of 270.5 yards per game (28th worst pass-rushing defense in the league).
Nevertheless, the Saints are very much in the hunt to get the top spot in a weaker NFC South, as they are just a half game behind the Carolina Panthers in the division standings.
Meanwhile, the Packers boast one of the strongest pass rushing defense in the league, as they only allowed opponents to cover an average of 214.9 yards per game - that's the 5th best defense against the passing game in the league.
Players To Watch:
New Orleans Saints: Drew Brees covered 1,916 yards with 11 touchdowns so far in the season, while Khiry Robinson and Mark Ingram have combined for five rushing TDs.
Golden Bay Packers: Aaron Rodgers completed 141 of 211 passes for 1,674 yards and 18 touchdowns this season. Running back Eddie Lacy is also having another stellar year with 269 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
