Hyundai earns a top spot in CarMD's Vehicle Index Manufacturer Vehicle Reliability Rankings, among all car makers such as Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chrysler, KIA, GM, Mazda, Nissan and VW. The Korean car company is awarded for its very low repair frequency and lowers than average repair costs.

The rankings for CarMD Index include top 10 car manufacturers, top 100 vehicles, and top three vehicles by category and common repairs by vehicle make. This year, CarMD identified the most reliable cars out of more than 3,800 different models, including the analysis of more than 251,000 reported occurrences between Oct. 1, 2014 and Sept. 30, 2015.

Executive VP of Customers Satisfaction Hyundai Motor America Frank Ferrara has said that with the top spot earned this year by Hyundai in CarMD Vehicle Health Index, it shows that the company is committed to design vehicles with strong durability, quality and reliability as reported by Carscoops news.

When Hyundai is going to be compared with other automakers, owners of Hyundai vehicles had fewer repairs. Hyundai pledged to extend exceptional customer service. Hyundai Assurance backs up owners' satisfaction, offering peace of mind to its owners.

Honda was on the top spot last year, but this 2015, it could only manage 3rd place behind Hyundai and Toyota. GM dropped to 7th place while last year they were on the placed 4th, and Ford secured the 4th place this year.

Hyundai was named No. 1 among all other car makers for its excellence in vehicle dependability.
