Chevrolet announces their new 2016 Trax Midnight Edition which offers customers the chance to own a slightly provocative smaller crossover.

According to Carscoops report the Chevy 2016 Trax Midnight Edition comes with black wheels, beltline molding and door handles, bezels, as well as black rear license plate "applique". The interior features gray accents on seats and gray piping on the floor mats.

"Introduced just a year ago, the Trax has quickly become an important vehicle for Chevrolet, bringing in new, younger and more female buyers to the brand," said marketing manager Betsy Flegg of Chevy Crossovers. "The small SUV segment is the fastest growing in the industry and a model such as the new Trax Midnight Edition provides customers an expressive option."

On the first 11 months of 2015, 57,707 people bought new Trax in the US, making the vehicle the second best-selling car in its segment behind the Buick Encore, which has a market share of approximately 20%.

The Trax also comes with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, which is going to become a must-have in all cars soon enough. Anyone interested to buy the Trax Midnight Edition, has to wait until it goes on sale in late February 2016, with a price tag of $26,125.

The Chevy 2016 Trax Midnight Edition features the agility of a small car with the convenience of an SUV and offers up to 48.4 cubic feet of cargo space. A turbocharged engine of 1.4L offers the efficiency of a small displacement engine - an EPA-estimated 34 mpg on the highway - powered by a larger engine on-demand. This smaller version SUV comes with a connectivity of 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot as reported by Autoblog news.

The new 2016 Trax Midnight Edition is joined by a full complement of Chevy crossovers and SUVs that include the Equinox, Traverse, Tahoe and Suburban.

Trax goes on sale in late February 2016, with a suggested retail price of $26,125 which includes destination charge, but excludes tax, title and other dealer fees.
