Amal Clooney may not be a celebrity, but she does have a big name in her field. As per The Sun, George Clooney's wife, who is a lawyer would normally charge her clients £500 an hour.
She may have high rates, but she's in demand. One of her famous clients is the Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange.
During an interview with The Sun, a retired lawyer stated that Amal is charging a bit too much for the lawyer fees as the rates would normally rage from £200 to £300 a day.
"That does seem to be a high fee, that works out as £4,000 a day. There are no set rates but usually barristers will charge around £200 to £300 an hour. The very best people can charge more."
During an interview, Cindy Crawford, the wife of Clooney's close friend Rande Gerber, stated that Clooney already got the whole package when he tied the knot with Amal.
"Amal is obviously beautiful, but she's the whole package, now George has this woman that he's really in love with, and she's smart and engaging and interesting."
In addition to Amal's good lawyer skills, she's also part of making a change in helping Lebanese girls acquire education. As per the report, Amal made a partnership with 100 Lives, which is an organization focused in giving Lebanese girls educational opportunity for a lifetime.
"This scholarship will give young women from Lebanon the opportunity of a lifetime, cross-cultural learning and studying abroad can be transformative. I am grateful to 100 Lives for helping to open doors for these bright and talented young women."
