Hilary Duff is one great single mom and more than happy to be one.

The former Disney star tells all in her February cover story in Redbook. She, first of all, says that she feels guilty when she gets really busy, pertaining to her son, Luca Cruz, who is three and a half years old.

Sharing undeniable wisdom, she admits one can never really have it all. At one point in life, one is going to miss a milestone, either in a career or a family, to a certain degree, no matter how hard one tries.

She shared that she hasn't been happy with the camera in front of her especially when she gave birth to her son. She recalled, way back in 2012, "After I had Luca, I went out to, like, the breast-pump store - I was still huge - and I just had a comfortable outfit on. And the next day [in the tabloids] it was like, 'Hilary debuts post-baby bod!' And I was like, 'That's not a debut! That's an errand!'"

Despite realizing how mean it was later on, she did not really mind because being a mother for the first time gave her joy. She was extremely excited about it and it still shows to this day.

Duff co-parents Luca with her ex-husband Mike Comrie. Despite being a single mom, she is not looking forward to another marriage at this point. She admitted, "I don't want to say I wouldn't get married again, but it's not important to me. I don't feel I would need to be married to have another child. If I felt strongly enough toward someone or if someone felt strongly about it, I might say okay. But it's not essential."

Meanwhile, People reports  that the singer and actress will remain busy next year as her TV Land comedy titled "Younger" has been renewed for second season set to premiere on Jan. 13.
