Samsung will be releasing another flagship smartphone in China, the Galaxy A9. Although the price has been announced, the specs and its features were not yet revealed to the public.

Based on the latest reports, this Samsung Galaxy A9 will cost around $492 (RMB 3,199 in Chinese currency).

Even if Samsung didn't release any official details on its specs and features, a lot of rumors were leaked online about the model.

Samsung Galaxy A9 is said to be a humongous 6.0-inch Super AMOLED which is bundled with 1080p screen resolution. The screen is made of 2.5D curved glass with seamless edge look. So, in its appearne it looks like the body of the Galaxy S6.

The system is packed with an octa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 652) processor that powers the handset. It is also built with Android 5.1 Lollipop )S which is also upgradeable to Marshmallow if the users would like to.

Samsung Galaxy A9 is also supported with 3GB of RAM and 32GM of native storage space with a double microSD slot. The handset supports the 4G LTE. The battery, which is the most concerned portion of the device, has a powerful 4,000 mAh battery unit with rapid charging capability. This unit is non-removable.

The specs also included the Java support capacity for this new smartphone. It has the capacity to store MP4, MP3, photo or video editor and document viewer, too.

It also has a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the home button. Another cool feature that every techie user would expect from Galaxy A9 is that it has a 13-megapixel rear-facing sensor with OIS and LED flash in its camera. So, they could really enjoy taking nice photos especially that is has an 8-megapixel secondary snapper mounted at the front for selfies at the same time.

Maeanwhile, Samsung will be launching this new smartphone model in China this coming January 2016 in different colors pearl white, midnight black, champagne gold, and pink.
