"Mozart In The Jungle," is hitting high notes on its season 2-yet another gem Netflix has under its wing.

The New York Symphony has once again the presence of the Maestro, as season 2 finds Gael Garcia Bernal's Rodrigo de Souza back returning in New York, with Mozart still occupying his head aside from the ongoing contract negotiations that may affect the balance of his orchestra. Then perhaps, the most beautiful thought of his kiss with Hailey Rutledge (Lola Kirke) that capped the end of the first season made all the difference or some.

Entertainment Weekly provides a review of the ongoing season 2, with the plot still hitting high notes. There's Hailey considering her feelings for her boyfriend or make it work with Rodrigo. Meanwhile, Thomas Pembridge is dealing with his retirement and Gloria Windsor needs the negotiation done and over. She also has to look for new, perhaps, younger donors. Overall, the show should be lauded for its interesting plot that makes each episode stand out.

On the first few episodes, the focus is on the preparation of the show in Mexico, which is crucial for Rodrigo because his old maestro is expected to be among the audience. Despite the high of the preparation, there is a lingering issue about the contracts, which have not been resolved yet.

Hailey badly wants to be a different person other than Rodrigo's assistant but the Mexico show on the roll, it was just not possible. Cynthia Taylor (Saffron Burrows), meanwhile had a fling with their lawyer despite the negotiations and contract dramas.

Everyone seems distracted, forcing Rodrigo to be stricter with his leadership but as Thomas said, he is supposed to rule with iron fist.

Then more problems continued to emerge as Rodrigo was evicted from his apartment, while Hailey did not seem to care that her boyfriend is leaving-which him up upset, understandably.

When all the dramas have faded in the background, "Mozart" came to life and true to its promise, the audience was given it due (that's us, folks). But then we have to wait for more episodes to see how everything else will unfold.
