We have heard a lot about the "Samsung Galaxy A9" smartphone. And just last week, the new model has been made official by the company in China. However, the cost and availability details of the said phone were scarce. Luckily, new info about the phone's pricing just surfaced online, so we can now have a better idea as to how much the "Samsung Galaxy A9" costs in China.
The Asian price may not be the same as the US price when the phone gets released, but just to give us an estimated idea, the source shared that the "Samsung Galaxy A9" costs RMB 3199. This is $495 if the maths are done and the numbers are converted. This price came from a screenshot that was shared by someone on Weibo.
For a price like that what you can get is a Snapdragon 652 processor and a 6 inch screen. According to GSMarena the "Samsung Galaxy A9" has a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and it uses a Super AMOLED display. Its memory is expandable from 32 GB to 128 GB and its RAM is 3 GB. The cameras and battery are quite impressive especially when you compare it to most phones released in 2015. The phone has a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. The 13 MP rear cam may be typical, but an 8 MP front cam is quite an improvement over the usual 5 MP front cams. The battery is at 4000 mAh which makes it way better than what other phones have. However, the phone doesn't natively run Android Marshmallow, instead it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop from the box. But of course, the phone is also planned to get the Marshmallow update soon.
Furthermore, the "Samsung Galaxy A9" comes with a fingerprint scanner, FM radio, and fast battery charging capability. The color variants are Champagne Gold, Pearl White, Midnight Black, and Pink. Since the phone has just been announced December, the expected release month is January.
