"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 2 will introduce three new characters during the second half of the series.
According to TV Line, the three new characters will be a trio named George Mahoney, Beverly, George's wife and Charles, the son of George and Beverly.
The publication is speculating on the possibility of seeing the small family as Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) new clients.
There are also some speculations that the trio may be related to ADA Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns) who was murdered by Asher (Matt McGorry) during the fall finale episode.
Meanwhile, the second half of "How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 will also reveal more details regarding the relationship of Annalise, Eve (Famke Janssen) and Wes (Alfred Enoch).
In an interview with TV Guide, executive producer Pete Nowalk confirmed that the history between the three characters will be explored in season 2B.
"Wes has a lot of questions for her. I think he's probably full of guilt for what he did," he said.
Nowalk added that Annalise will no longer have a soft spot for Wes especially after he tried to murder her by shooting her in the abdomen.
"All the rules have changed. I don't think she's gonna be able to deal with him in the same way anymore or wants to," Nowalk said.
In other news, Asher's flash forwards will also be part of the hit ABC series starting next month.
"We're going to see that when we come back and we'll understand what he's doing there. Is he confessing? Is this part of the plan? Does it not have anything to do with anything?" he said.
"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 will premiere on ABC on Feb. 11, 2016 at 10 p.m. ET.
