"Girl Meets World" Season 2 is close to its return on Disney Channel in episode 26 titled, "Girl Meets STEM." While the upcoming episode of the series won't exactly be a continuation of the events from "Girl Meets the New Year," recent 'GMW' spoilers hint that the love triangle between Maya-Lucas-Riley will be the show's core in Season 3.

Don't get your hopes high about seeing a resolution on the Riley-Lucas-Maya love triangle in "Girl Meets World" Season 2 Episode 26. While the Disney series ended in such a cliffhanger before it went on a hiatus last December, spoilers reveal that fans and viewers may only see the continuation of this episode in the show's season finale.

Not only will a continuation be provided in 'GMW' Season 2 finale, but there will also be a chance that this love triangle between Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lucas (Peyton Meyer) will become one of the show's focus in Season 3, International Business Times reported. The publication cited that the show's writers revealed the names of the episodes for the third season.

One of the episode titles, which immediately took the attention of several fans, is called "Girl Meets Triangle." This might be taken as a hint that "Girl Meets World" Season 3 will be more than just high school and stuff, but it all remains nothing but speculation as of the moment.

Meanwhile, actress Rowan Blanchard recently opened up about kissing her co-stars in "Girl Meets World." Blanchard, who plays the role of Riley in the Disney series, admitted that she found it "weird to film" such kinds of scenes with her co-star Peyton Meyer, Just Jared reported.

The 14-year-old actress, however, shared that while it was "a little uncomfortable" doing kissing scenes with Meyer, she later on became comfortable with it after getting close with her co-stars.

"Honestly, we all trust each other and it's a great relationship that we have, so it makes it feel like a much safer place," she said.

"Girl Meets World" Season 2 Episode 26 airs on Jan. 8 on Disney Channel.
