Kanye West has released a new track on New Year's Eve entitled "Facts." Eventually, Marcus Jordan, the son of the six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan, laughed it off when he learned of the lyrics. Yeezy was aiming for his Airness.

West's "Facts" reference to Michael, which came in "Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman."  Many are saying that the words are aimed for Nike, where he parted ways back in 2013, Billboard reported. He has currently partnered with Adidas. Michael has not released any statement yet regarding the song, but his son Marcus put up on social media his initial reaction to the song, Complex reported.

The post on Twitter says: "Yeezy just jumped over @Jumpman23 ??" LOL I needed a good laugh to start my #2016." Several emojis were also included on the tweet. It was then followed up by a GIF of Michael, having a good laugh.

Nike was carrying the Jumpman merchandise while Adidas is carrying the Yeezy line of shoes.

West's "Facts" was produced by Southside & Metro Boomin.  He also mentioned Drake and the Roots in his new song.  Drake is also under contract with Nike since December 2013.  Plus, West also mentioned that his current album has been delayed, but his footwear with Adidas has already sold a lot of pairs and has become a platinum.

This is the second time in a row that West have released a record on New Year's Eve.  He released "Only One" last year and which he dedicated to his daughter, North West. "Only One" was a collaboration with the legendary Beatles member, Sir Paul McCartney. "FourFiveSeconds" and "All Day" came after, which he made together with McCartney and Rihanna.

Meanwhile, Marcus is also planning to open up his own retail boutique store called Trophy Room.  It is said to be opening in the Spring of 2016.
