Miranda Lambert and boyfriend Anderson East recently made headlines after their romance was confirmed during the New Year. The two are just enjoying the spotlight as a new couple, but their romance seems to be the target of new speculations. Latest reports claim that Lambert's boyfriend had several drug records in the past and the way it sounds, it's not a good news for Blake Shelton's ex wife.
As Radar Online reported, Lambert had a rough year after splitting with her husband of four years, and it seems she's reportedly heading for another heartbreak. Lambert's boyfriend had apparently bad records in the past. The site claimed that Anderson East whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson, was arrested on March 4, 2007, in Hamilton County, Tennessee, for driving violations. However, police records revealed that he was also found on drugs after he admitted smoking a bowl the previous night.
Sheriffs records show "Cops noticed the smell of marijuana," adding "Cops also claimed to have found an ounce of pot in the car."
According to Life And Style Mag, Lambert's boyfriend was charged with possession of a controlled substance, reckless driving and drug paraphernalia. It is said that East was sentenced to less than one year probation and was asked to pay $250 as fine. After completing his probation requirements, the case against East was dismissed.
It was only over the weekends when Lambert and her boyfriend made their relationship public. East's stepdad allegedly confirmed their romance to In Touch Weekly saying that the award-winning American Music artist and East have been dating for weeks. As per the sources, "The Voice" coach has nothing but good wishes for his former wife.
"He's only ever wanted the best for her and is glad that they can both move on in 2016. He knows who Anderson is, they have met a couple of times and thinks he's a cool guy. He doesn't know him that well, but if he makes Miranda happy, then that's all that matters."
